Koffee With Karan 8 promo: Rani Mukerji blames Karan for hitting her, Kajol warns about staging a walkout from the show

Koffee With Karan Season 8 host Karan Johar has finally dropped the first glimpse of his upcoming episode with his first leading ladies Rani Mukerji and Kajol on his Instagram handle. The episode promises a fun chat about the two actresses' professional lives, their movies Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and several revelations.

The promo starts with Rani telling Karan that she wants to expose him, and Kajol says she is already liking the show. Karan then recalls an incident from the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai shoot, where Sanjay Dutt asked Yash Johar why he was standing outside of Mehboob studio and talking over the phone. To which the late filmmaker had replied that my son has created a grand set because of which I have come down on the road. Rani blamed Karan for hitting her. To this, Kajol says, “It was abuse” and Karan reacts, “How bitchy.” Further, Karan asks about a Kajol film in which Rani made a special appearance. When no one between the two answers, Karan reveals it’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kajol surprisingly asks, “Rani had a special appearance?” Towards the end of the promo, Kajol gets up and desires to walk out of the show.

Sharing the promo, Karan wrote, “We’ve hit the button hard enough to bring my first leading ladies - Kajol & Rani back on the Koffee couch & it’s nostalgia in the purest form!!!!” Reacting to the promo, a user wrote, “Ahahahaha love it! 😂 Looking forward to seeing this episode.” The second user commented, “This is probably gonna be one of the best episodes of the season!” The third user reacted, “The only episode that feels entertaining, the rest were all meh! Earlier, Karan invited his ex-students Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the last episode of the show. So far, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan-Ananya Panday, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor Khan=Alia Bhatt have appeared this season. The upcoming guests include Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and many more.
