Koffee With Karan 8: Karan Johar's Konscience slams ‘cheese jokes’, trolls him for discussing sex lives on season 7

After a break of three long years, filmmaker and beloved chat show host Karan Johar returned to our screens with Koffee With Karan season 7 in 2022. There were many who trolled him for constantly poking into the sex lives of his celebrity guests and taking Alia Bhatt’s name way too many times. But a majority of fans were over the moon with joy to have their favourite chat show back! The rapid fire rounds were fiery while the quiz brought out the competitive side of most celebs. Well, KJo has now revealed that the wait for the next season is much shorter.

This time as he brews season 8, Karan has to deal with his Konscience– conscience with a ‘K’. In the first teaser shared by the filmmaker, we meet his Konscience who trolls him for discussing sex lives of 20 year olds in the previous season. Calling it ‘Kold Koffee With Karan’, KJo’s Konscience also slammed him for cracking ‘cheese jokes’ with ‘nepo babies’. We are guessing he’s talking about the episode where Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan gushed over South superstar Vijay Deverakonda, calling him ‘cheese’. Well, Karan has taken an oath to make season 8 bigger and better!

He is now planning ‘rapid pheras’ for newlyweds on his show apart from inviting star-grandkids! Along with this hilarious promo, Karan announced the release date of season 8. He shared, “Turns out, my own Konscience wants to troll me too!😤 But screw what he thinks, I’m still brewing Season 8!🥳 #HotstarSpecials #KoffeeWithKaran Season 8 - streams from 26th October only on @disneyplushotstar!” Well, we are quite excited to see the guest list and are eagerly waiting to see some koffee beans spilled again. And of course, seeing Karan in his element is always fun.
