Koffee With Karan 8: Janhvi Kapoor talks about how BF Shikhar Pahariya is different; reveals the song he used to sing for her

After months of speculations, Janhvi Kapoor has subtly confirmed her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya on chat show, Koffee With Karan Season 8. The host Karan Johar has his ways of making celebrities spill the beans on their lovers and he very well succeeded this time too. During her appearance on the show with her sister Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi was asked to react if she had an interesting path of love dating Shikhar once again. She recounted how Shikhar used to sing the ‘Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aa Ja’ song from Rockstar for her a lot.

Further, Karan asked if Shikhar used to sing the same song right through her relationship with another movie star. And Janhvi said, "I won't say that but I will say this, he is, not just for me, but for her (Khushi), for dad and everyone in our family, he has been there from the start as a friend. Not in a way that made me feel like he is expecting anything or he is a pushover or any of those things.” She also explained how he is a different person for her. “He was just there in a very selfless dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being there for another human being,” she added.

For those unfamiliar, Janhvi and Shikhar have often been papped together in the city on several occasions. They also engage on social media PDAs. Shikhar is the maternal grandson of the former chief minister of Maharashtra Sushil Kumar Shinde. It is rumoured that Janhvi briefly dated her Dhadak co-star Ishaan Khatter after breaking up with Shikhar. However, there is no confirmation about the same.

Meanwhile, workwise, Janhvi will next be seen in Devara alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. She also has Mr and Mrs Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao in her kitty. She was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan.
