Koffee With Karan 8: Did Kareena Kapoor Khan intentionally skip Gadar 2 success bash due to Ameesha Patel?

Kareena Kapoor Khan graced the Koffee With Karan 8 couch along with Alia Bhatt. The dynamic duo made sure to serve an entertaining episode which also saw some interesting revelations. During the same, Karan Johar spilled some tea wherein he hinted that Kareena might have skipped the Gadar 2 success bash intentionally, courtesy the lead heroine of the movie, Ameesha Patel.

Talking about the same, KJo could be seen asking Kareena why she did not attend the Gadar 2 success party. To this, she was quick to reply that she was not in town during that time. However, the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham director revealed that the actress was in town but still did not attend the bash. Not only this but Karan furthermore asked Bebo if she missed the bash due to her brief history with Ameesha Patel. For the unversed, Kareena and Ameesha have an unpleasant history wherein the former was ousted from Kaho Na Pyaar Hai which she had started shooting with Hrithik Roshan. The movie eventually went to Ameesha’s lap and turned out to be a huge success.

The Heroine actress, however, smartly avoided the question by asking Karan, “Are you trolling me?” which left the latter and Alia in splits. But Kareena made sure to congratulate the entire team of Gadar 2 for the massive success that it achieved. She also expressed her desire to watch the movie. Talking about Kareena and Ameesha’s beef, the latter had revealed in an earlier interview that the director of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Rakesh Roshan had revealed to her that Kareena was removed from the movie because she had a lot of differences with the makers. Rumor has it that Kareena also threw some shade at Ameesha after the movie’s release saying that the latter did not look good in the movie.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena has been receiving loads of praises for the movie, The Buckingham Murders. It has been helmed by Hansal Mehta. She will also be seen in Singham 3.
