    Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut made her digital debut this year as the host of Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Upp. The first season came to an end over the weekend and the actress is quite happy with how things turned out.

    When Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Upp was announced, it was compared to Salman Khan ’s popular Bigg Boss series. Nevertheless, fans were quite excited to see how it turns out especially because it marked Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut ’s debut on the digital platform. She wonderfully hosted the show and every weekend on judgment day, interacted with the kaidis and gave them a piece of their mind along with a little bashing every now and then. The prisoners of her celebrity jail loved her while audiences truly enjoyed watching her.

    In an interview with IANS, Kangana opened up about the show and shared, “Making a debut into hosting with such a unique reality show in itself has been such a huge success.” The Tanu Weds Manu actress went on to add, “It is really a very special feeling for me and I am overwhelmed by the response the show has received from our country and also across the globe. It's a great thing that the show has ruled all over the internet since its launch and now this is coming to an end.”

    The first season of Lock Upp came to a grand end over the weekend. As predicted by various polls on social media, stand-up comedian and fan favorite Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner. Not just his fans but even host Kangana and his competitors had bright smiles on their faces as he lifted the coveted trophy. Well, after wrapping up her first reality show, Kangana is now gearing up for the release of her next film Dhaakad. Also starring Arjun Rampal , the action thriller is all set to arrive in theatres on 20th May.
