'Jaise tum Rubina ko target...': Rahul Vaidya gets trolled over his comment on Bigg Boss OTT 2's Abhishek Malhan & Pooja Bhatt

Ever since Bigg Boss OTT season 2 began, singer Rahul Vaidya has been following the activities of each contestant on the show. In his latest tweet, he gave his opinion on the ongoing buzz regarding Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek Malhan. According to one of the Twitter users, Pooja is trying to highlight Abhishek’s alleged rudeness towards women on the show. Reacting to this, Rahul said that it is not something new which doesn’t happen on the show.

The Twitter user opined, “Pooja Bhatt ji is trying to set up a narrative which portrays Abhishek Malhan as a person who disrespects women. She highlights his alleged rudeness towards women and questions his upbringing. However, if you notice that Abhishek's only friend in the house are women, namely Manisha, Jiya, Akanksha, Aaliya. He spends most of his time talking to these girls. And Pooja ji is so behind targeting Abhishek all the time that she forgets that the one who really misbehave with women is Avinash, with Palak & Jiya. One more thing Pooja ji has said so many things yet Abhishek constantly replied to her with respect & never shown her disrespect. That's show how good his upbringing is and how well he respects everyone,(sic).” Rahul replied to the tweet saying, “Tell me something new… doesn’t this happen every season ??”

Soon after, a section of Twitter users was reminded of Rahul’s time spent in the Bigg Boss 16 house and left mean comments about him. “True bhai #RahulVaidya bhai, they tried same with you in season 14 tried to defame you and ruin your image calling you misogynist and whatnot. But It was you who didn't let them do it and show them whose the boss was. You are an inspiration,” wrote one of the users. Another commented, “Umm but in your case it was you who was going after the girl with the narrative and label of 'dominating' 'superiority complex' time n again not the other way around. It's you who did this in your season.” “Shut up you are one of the flag-bearers of toxic masculinity,” read one of the comments. "No, it’s not same. Jaise tum Rubina ko target karte the wese hi pooja abhishek ko target karti hai," read another comment. For the unversed, Rubina walked away with the winning trophy in Bigg Boss season 14. 

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss OTT season 2 has Avinash Sachdev, Manisha Rani, Akanksha Puri, Jad Hadid, Cyrus Broacha, Falaq Naaz, and others as contestants. So far, Palak Purswami and Aaliya Siddiqui have been evicted from the show.
