Indian Police Force Twitter review: Sidharth Malhotra’s cop series fails to impress, netizens call it 'bland & boring'
The much-anticipated cop drama series Indian Police Force featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberpi finally released today.
There has been huge expectation from the cop series Indian Police Force, ever since Rohit Shetty announced it. Featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in prominent roles, the series has finally been released on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. A section of social media users who watched the series dropped their reviews and they are hardly positive.
The series follows DCP Kabir Malik and his senior officer Joint CP Vikram Bakshi as they embark on a mission to investigate a series of bomb blasts in Delhi, with the help of Gujarat ATS Chief Tara Shetty. They set out to arrest the culprit Zarar, an Al-Mujahideen terrorist. After watching the seven-episode series, a social media user wrote, “After watching #IndianPoliceForce, my hopes are literally crashing for Singham 3. I hope #RohitShetty gives a banger with #SinghamAgain. But for now, #IPF didn't work for me at all.” For the unversed, Rohit’s next is Singham Again, the third instalment of the Singham franchise starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
Another social media user said, “Yesterday I finished The web series. All I want to say is it can be Better. No twists and turns, all the scenes are predictable. Average VFX. Feel like a normal action web series.” The third user commented, “#IndianPoliceForceOnPrime is so bad man. Cringe, unintentionally hilarious, outdated and snooze fest.Zero Stars. God save #SinghamAgain.” “The colour grading in #IndianPoliceForceOnPrime is horrendous. The show had so much potential to use the cities as a character itself, but the colour grading, the weird cinematography added with that pathetic VFX, kills any iota of hope by a long shot,” added another user.
Meanwhile, the Indian Police Force marks Rohit Shetty’s digital debut and also stars Sharad Kelkar, Isha Talwar, Shweta Tiwari, Rituraj Singh and others in key roles. Backed by Rohit Shetty under the banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez and Reliance Entertainment, the series was released today i.e. January 19.
