    For the first time, actress Juhi Chawla and Babil Khan are set to share screen space in the upcoming web series Friday Night Plan. The announcement teaser of the same has been dropped on Friday which sees the duo in the role of mother and son. The show also has Amrith Jayan in the pivotal role.

    The one-minute-four-second-long clip shows Juhi asking both of her sons(Babil and Amrith) if they will be okay for one day as she may have to stay overnight in Pune. Following this, the two brothers could be seen engaging in night outs and partying hard with friends. Babil’s character also flirts with his classmate. Sharing the teaser on his Instagram handle, Babil wrote, “Two unsupervised siblings in a room… they might have the most epic #FridayNightPlan! 🥳Premieres on 1st September, only on Netflix!”

For the unversed, Babil, son of the late Irrfan Khan, made his acting debut with the Netflix series Qala alongside Triptii Dimri. The Friday Night Plan marks his second outing with the OTT giant.

    In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Babil opened up about her teenage character in the upcoming series. He said, “My character is scared of failure and that’s why he’s always protecting himself and planning life too much. His failure of failure is because he lost his father, and that’s the only thing I could relate to.” The series, bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, is set to stream on Netflix on September 1.
