Exclusive- Never Kiss Your Best Friend 2 star Sarah Jane Dias: ‘I cannot imagine romancing Nakuul Mehta off-screen’

The second and much awaited season of Never Kiss Your Best Friend is right around the corner and fans can’t wait to see Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh as on-screen BFFs Sumer Dhillion and Tanie Brar. We are equally excited about their new co-stars and love interests, which will be portrayed by the gorgeous Sarah Jane Dias and television heartthrob Karan Wahi . While Tanie will fall head over heels in love with actor Karan, Nakuul aka Sumer will romance Sarah’s character Lavanyaa Oberoi.

Sarah, who is excited about being a part of the show, had a gala time with the star cast. She shares, “I think that our off-screen bond is more entertaining than our on-screen bond. We had the best time filming in London together. We also have a WhatsApp group where we keep in touch. We really got along well and it was a wonderful environment to work with them. On screen we have a completely different chemistry because on-screen I romance Nakuul but offscreen I cannot imagine romancing him.”

Many female fans, who can’t stop gushing over Nakuul, will find this hard to believe. But Sarah has a good reason, other than the fact that he’s happily married. The actress explains, “Not that he is not attractive, it's just that we are such good friends off screen and it's crazy that we are both able to turn that on when we both are in front of the camera and it really worked for our character.”

Well, their on-screen chemistry looks promising and we can’t wait to see them together when the show premieres on ZEE5 on April 29.
