However, he was eliminated from the show mid-way for physical violence against Pratik Sehejpal. The decision was criticized by many fans who called his eviction unfair and biased. Umar himself called out the makers of the show for ousting him from the show in an unfair manner and also accused them of allegedly insulting his profession as a doctor.
