Daniel Craig reveals how the James Bond role helped him prepare for Netflix's Knives Out 2
With the highly anticipated sequel to Knives out set to premiere on Netflix in December, Daniel Craig shares how the James Bond experience helped him get back into the mindset of Benoit Blanc.

Knives Out was a surprise hit of 2019 and had grossed over 300 million dollars worldwide and earned three Academy Award nominations.
The movie focused on private detective Benoit Blanc who is tasked with solving the murder of Harlan Thrombey, a wealthy mystery novelist.
The success of the movie led to Netflix buying both its sequel for a whopping 469 million dollars.
Daniel Craig played the role of the eccentric detective Benoit Blanc and received praise from both critics and fans and even earned a Golden Globe nomination for best actor.
The sequel in which Craig will reprise his role is titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and is written and directed by Rian Johnson.
In a recent interview with Empire, the actor revealed how his experience of playing James Bind helped him prepare for the sequel
"I’ve spent the past 15 years of my life trying to do that in a franchise, so I’m not afraid of it. If you’ve got the right people in the room and the right talent, then you can do it. Rian’s a genius writer and doesn’t want to repeat [himself]. Neither do we want to let people down; we want audiences to enjoy the world that we created in the first one and believe in this one."
Glass Onion will involve detective Benoit Blanc to solve the murder of a tech billionaire on his private island in Greece.
Like the first movie, the sequel to boasts an ensemble cast that includes Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will stream on Netflix on December 23, 2022.
