Citadel: Honey Bunny Trailer OUT! Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu promise a rollercoaster ride filled with intense action and unlimited fun

The much-awaited trailer of Citadel: Honey Bunny has finally been dropped. If at all one had to describe the trailer in one line, then, it has to be ‘spectacular as never before and spectacular as never after’.

Without much ado, let us tell you about the trailer. The gripping trailer of Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Citadel: Honey Bunny starts off with a ‘khatra-filled’ introduction of the super dashing Bunny (Varun Dhawan), who tells that, ‘There is a new fear every day. Either the fear eliminates you or you destroy the fear’. This is then, followed by the introduction of ‘Honey’ (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), the ‘brave and fearless’ mother of a young daughter, who knows that she will not let anything happen to her.

This is followed by Honey’s sweet confession to her innocent daughter, wherein she says that she was once an agent… like James Bond! That’s when Bunny tells Honey that he has got a job for her, in his spy agency, wherein they believe ‘we fight so that there is peace’.

After a few intense moments of action, Bunny tells Honey the reason and the circumstances under which he came into the agency. This is followed by yet another round of high-octane action scenes, amidst which, Bunny tells Honey that he regrets making her a part of ‘his family’. This also leads the way to a face off between Honey and Bunny, both of whom have guns in their hands trained on the other person!

Varun Dhawan is as ‘smoodh’ as ever. His on-screen chemistry with Samantha is definitely something that will set the screen afire. Look at the way they both complement each other. Their on-screen chemistry is expected to be a major highlight of the series, adding an emotional layer to the thrilling spy narrative.

Another user wrote, ‘Let me tell you the truth. I just could not take my eyes off Varun Dhawan in the trailer. I am sure that his role in the "Citadel: Honey Bunny" series is different from his usual comedic and romantic roles, a testament to his acting prowess.
