‘Chahate ho main jail chali jaaun’: Urfi Javed reacts to rumours of her participating in Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp 2

Before emerging as a fashion icon, television actress Urfi Javed had participated in Bigg Boss OTT hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. She spent only a week in the reality show and was the first contestant to be evicted. But within that time frame, she had already made headlines for locking lips with singer Neha Bhasin and making a dress out of garbage bags. She was entertaining and unabashedly herself. Post Bigg Boss, Urfi has constantly been in the news for her creative and unique fashion sense as well as her quirky and unexpected outfits.

After KJo’s reality show, Urfi entered Splitsvilla 14 as the Queen Bee. Recent buzz suggested that the actress and fashionista is now all set to participate in the second season of Kangana Ranaut ’s reality competition television series, Lock Upp. However, in her latest interaction with the paparazzi, Urfi clarified that these are just rumours. She shared, “Mujhe approach bhi nahi kiya gaya hai. Tum log chahate ho naa main jail chali jaaun? Lock up bhejne ki itni jaldi hai.” When a paparazzi called it ‘Kangana Ranaut waala jail’, Urfi rolled her eyes and stated, “Abhi kuchh nahi. Nahi hai. But Lock Upp definitely nahi hai. Mujhe karna hi nahi hai.”

The very first season of Kangana’s celebrity prison premiered last year in February. In this exciting show, celebs were locked up together in what looked like a jail. Karan Kundrra was the handsome jailor whereas Kangana was the badass queen. After 70 days inside, stand up comic Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner while actress Payal Rohatgi became the first runner up. Well, Urfi has now clarified that she won’t be a part of Lock Upp 2 . But other celebs who will reportedly participate in Kangana’s show this year are Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal, Asim Riaz’s brother and Bigg Boss 15 contestant Umar Riaz, and Bigg Boss 16’s most entertaining housemate Archana Gautam.
