Bigg Boss OTT 2 Promo: Host Salman Khan grooves to a new anthem, reveals grand premiere date; watch

One of the biggest reasons why audiences watch Bigg Boss is the Weekend Ka Vaar with host and superstar Salman Khan. Over the last few years, every now and then, many famous celebs took over temporarily when Bollywood’s Bhaijaan was not available. But they were never able to recreate his magic. Filmmaker Karan Johar did manage to garner a fan following thanks to his fun hosting skills with Bigg Boss OTT. However, Salman is now replacing KJo in Bigg Boss OTT season 2. This rumour was confirmed last month when the first promo leaked on social media.

Much to the delight of fans, who eagerly wait for the reality show to begin each year, Bigg Boss OTT will arrive on Jio Cinema this month! That’s right. In the latest promo shared by the digital platform on social media, Salman stated: “Iss baar itni lagegi, ki aapki madad lagegi.” Thus begins the new anthem: ‘Lagi, bachi, lagi, bachi, dhyaan se! Lagi, bachi, lagi, bachi, khelo dilo jaan se’. Salman grooved on this track with full josh! Right after his performance ended, the premiere date flashed on our screens-- 17th June.

Salman looks handsome as ever in his silver jacket and denim jeans. Well, we can’t wait to see him once again as the badass host! But in the comment section below, netizens have expressed mixed feelings. One social media user wrote: “Finally ipl k baad kuch to hoga timepass kerna ke liya”, whereas another fan asked, “#UmarRiaz coming or not in #Biggbossott 2 because only umar matter to us.💯💯” A third uninterested netizen wrote: “Not interested in OTT wala big boss!!!😴 I will wait for bigg boss 17.”

According to recent buzz, Bigg Boss OTT 2 will apparently follow a theme similar to Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. But instead of a celebrity prison, the contestants will reportedly be arrested in a jungle. Too much fun!
