Bigg Boss OTT 2: Jiya Shankar says Abhishek Malhan is not her type; latter breaks down

The ongoing season of Bigg Boss OTT 2 is witnessing some high-octane drama and changing dynamics between the contestants. There were many fans of the show who liked the bond between contestants Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar and started shipping them romantically. However, in yesterday's (July 10) episode, Jiya could be heard telling Bebika Dhurve that Abhishek aka Fukra Insaan is not her type.

Bebika Dhurve was seen conversing with Jiya Shankar in the kitchen about how she thinks that there might be a possible love angle between Jiya and Abhishek till the end of the show. However, the Pisachini actress denies the same and says that the Youtuber is not her type. Falaq Naaz furthermore says that until Manisha Rani is there with Abhishek, the latter will not let him bond with anyone else on the show. However, the duo was still seen sharing some fond moments with each other in yesterday’s episode. After having an argument with Falaq and Avinash Sachdev, Jiya also started to cry after which Abhishek was seen coming and consoling her. Bebika also hinted that he was getting a little possessive of Jiya’s closeness to Jad Hadid. We also saw Abhishek break down on yesterday’s episode.

Talking about the same, Abhishek Malan was seen crying a lot in the bathroom area in front of the other male co-contestants like Cyrus Broacha, Avinash Sachdev, and Jad Hadid. The Youtuber confessed to missing his family dearly. He also revealed that this has to be the longest that he has stayed away from his loved ones.

Well, it will be interesting to see how the equations will change between Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan. While some fans ship the two with the hashtag ‘Abhiya’, others still consider Jiya to not be a reliable friend to him. Many fans feel that only Manisha Rani is Abhishek’s true friend in the house.
