Aspirants Season 2: Naveen Kasturia starrer TVF series announces a new chapter, excited fans say 'Bahut wait karwaya'

After a long wait, the makers of the hit series Aspirants have finally announced the new season. Actor Naveen Kasturia-led series follows three friends, Abhilash, Guri and SK, who are preparing for the UPSC exam in Delhi. While the first season delved into the past and the present time, capturing the struggle and the drama behind the making of UPSC CSE aspirants and its aftermath. The second chapter appears to be in the same format as the first look poster features Naveen’s character from two timelines.

Sharing the intriguing poster on the official Instagram handle, the streamer Prime Video wrote, “Join your favourite aspirants in the next chapter of their journey.” Soon after, excited fans chimed in the comment section to drop reactions. “Finally the wait is over” shared a user. “Woow so excited for new season, the first one was incredible, thoughtful and mind changing prospective it bring,” reacted the second user. “I didn't expect Season 2, but Coming from @theviralfever , they will not disappoint, I am sure,” stated the third user.” I'm counting down the days!” added another fan.

The upcoming season is set to follow the journey of Abhilash, Shwetketu(SK) and Guri, IAS aspirants who chose their own different paths in life. In the new chapter, they will navigate through love, career, ambition and dreams, with stakes much higher and double the fun in the second attempt. Talking about the show, Shreyansh Pandey, Head of TVF Originals said, “Aspirants is a riveting story of human aspirations, friendships, and the transformative power of ambition and thinking big. Prime Video and TVF have had a robust journey so far and we hope that the latest season of our passion project will add another feather in our cap as creators,” he said in a statement.

Besides Naveen Kasturia, the show also stars Shivankit Singh Parihar and Abhilash Thapliyal in lead roles. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the show is set to exclusively premiere on Prime Video on October 25, 2023.
