Aryan Khan planning on directing a web series, pitches a project to Amazon Prime Video?

Shah Rukh Khan ’s son Aryan Khan is considering a career in films but will not be making his debut as an actor has been earlier hinted at by the Bollywood superstar. The star kid who made his debut as a baby in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham as the younger version of the actor’s character has also done voice-over roles in the live-action Lion King movie and also The Incredibles . However, the star-kid is currently focused on making his debut as a director.

Taking his first steps in the world of filmmaking, Aryan is said to have pitched an idea for a web-series he wishes to direct to the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video . While Shah Rukh has mentioned in his earlier interviews that Aryan is a good writer and trained to be a director in U.S., a report in India Today has revealed that there is no clarity on what happened to Aryan’s web series pitch or what stage it is at.

According to a few other reports, Aryan’s web series is reportedly about a die-hard fan with elements of a thriller. Aryan also has plans of directing feature film which was supposed to be backed by his parents’ production company Red Chillies Entertainment . While there is no update on the movie project, Aryan’s web series is said to be at a scripting stage and will only be green-lit if and when the streamer is satisfied.

Aryan also seems to be working closely with his father and was recently seen making up for the actor absence at the IPL auction earlier this year along with his sister Suhana Khan. Shah Rukh Khan co-owns the team Kolkata Knight Riders and Aryan is frequently spotted at the KKR matches given his keen interest in cricket.

Apart from Aryan, his sister Sushana is also ready to join the movies this year. Suhana will reportedly be making her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar ’s Netflix film which is an Indian adaptation of The Archies along with Amitabh Bachchan ’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi kapoor.
