Shilpa Shinde reveals why she said yes to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10; calls Bigg Boss a milestone
After winning the trophy of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 11, actress Shilpa Shinde is all set to participate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.

One of the most popular names on Indian television, Shilpa Shinde began her career as an actress in 1999. She gained love from the audience with her work but it was in 2015 that she became a household name after leaving fans in awe with her performance as Angoori Manmohan Tiwari in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. Shilpa breathed life into the character and won our hearts. Post her exit from the show, she entered Bigg Boss season 11 and emerged as a winner. The actress has been away from the spotlight for two years now. But she is all set to make her big comeback with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 .
The dance reality show was officially announced last month and fans are extremely excited to see Shilpa as a participant. In a media statement, the actress shared, “Bigg Boss was a milestone in my career, and I hope that Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will also be a great experience for me. I am really excited to again associate with Colors. My fans eagerly anticipated my return to television after my stint on Bigg Boss, and they are the reason why I am doing this show. I know that they will be excited to see me back on television and what better show to entertain them than Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”
She went on to add, “I am a non-dancer and performing in front of an audience is something that I am looking forward to. This is a big platform and I hope that I live up to the expectations of my fans and entertain them till the end of the show.”
While filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Madhuri Dixit are going to return to the judges’ panel for this season, the other celebs who will be seen as contestants are Amruta Khanvilkar, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Nia Sharma and Niti Taylor.
