Shark Tank India: Sippline founder uses Vineeta Singh’s ‘Sugar cosmetics transfer proof hai’ claim to sell glass mask

A few weeks ago a video of Sippline founder Rohit Warrier went viral on social media, in which he tried to roast Ashneer Grover and Aman Gupta , two of the potential investors aka sharks on Shark Tank India . When Warrier had introduced them to his Sippline drinking shield, also referred to as ‘glass ka mask’, Grover had called it a ‘wahiyat’ product while Gupta was left in splits. Warrier’s viral video, in which he took a dig at the sharks who rejected him, was his form of payback. Well, a new video on Sippline’s social media handle has now used a clip of the Shark Tank India episode to promote their product.
The Shark Tank India season 1 contestant seems to have carefully taken in all the criticism he got from the various business sharks and used it to market his product on social media. While earlier he banked on the question Ashneer Grover asked, “Kaun dhoondh raha hai?” and rained down statistics of everyone searching for Sippline on social media, he has now used shark Vineeta Singh’s words against her to sell his ‘glass ka mask’.

During the episode, when Warrier had begun his pitch in front of the sharks, he picked up a dirty glass of water and pointed out the lipstick stain on it. He had asked Vineeta Singh, the CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, if the lipstick mark was by a product of her company. To this, Vineeta had replied, “Sugar cosmetics transfer proof hai.” Using that claim to his advantage in the new clip, Warrier says, “Issi liye dosto, Sippline zaroor use karein. Kyunki agar tranfer hua bhi hai, toh aapko pata bhi nahi chalega because SUGAR Cosmetics is tranfer-proof. Hence, use Sippline and keep possible cross-contamination away. Thank you.”

In the caption below, Sippline’s team wrote, “You won’t be able to detect contamination if someone’s lipstick, especially from @trysugar because Sugar Cosmetics is transfer proof. Hence, use a SIPPLINE, so that you are sure that your lips never touch a doubtful rim, but only a sterile and clean surface of Sippline.” The message further said ‘Try Sugar now’ and the team went on to add, ‘While also taking care of yourself, with a SIPPLINE - The drinking shield’.
