The demise of veteran actor Nitesh Pandey has left the entire industry in a state of shock and gloom. Yesterday (May 24) evening, his funeral was attended by many of his industry friends including Anupamaa co-star Rupali Ganguly. A video has been going viral wherein the actress cannot stop her tears while exiting the funeral.
Talking about the same, Rupali Ganguly can be seen exiting the building after attending the last rites of Nitesh Pandey. The Parrvarish: Kuch Khatee Kuch Methee actress could be seen sobbing inconsolably while leaving for her car. Once seated on her car, she can be seen continuing to cry and overwhelmed with emotions. One of the fans observed that Rupali Ganguly has lost two of her co-stars on the same day. This was in reference to actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay’s tragic death too in a car accident. For the unversed, Rupali had worked with Vaibhavi in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai. One of the netizens stated, “Rupali ke same day per dono co star ki death ho gayi,tuff time.” Another user slammed the media and said, “Akele dukhi bhi nai hone dete! Please leave them alone atleast in their grief.” While a netizen also took a sharp dig at the paparazzi for not giving Rupali the privacy to grieve. The comment read, “U guys posted a whole video giving Gyaan when PC spoke about how the media put their cameras down when she fell down at an event. I think u guys did it only for views and learnt nothing from it . Pls stop this nonsense of hounding ppl when they are in grief . They have lost a family member/ friend pls stop this nonsense and let then grieve in peace.”
Rupali Ganguly had revealed in an earlier interview with a publication that Nitesh Pandey was one of her closest friends in the industry. The late actor played the role of Dheeraj Kumar in Anupamaa. He was also part of movies like Om Shanti Om, Dabangg 2 and Badhaai Do.
