Rashami Desai reveals she lost touch with Bigg Boss friend Devoleena Bhattacharjee, didn't know she was getting married

Devoleena Bhattarcharjee’s recent wedding with her long time boyfriend has not just left her fans surprised but also her friends and co-actors from the TV industry. The Saath Nibhanaya Saathiya actress tied the knot earlier this week with gym trainer Shahnawaz Shaikh in a hush hush wedding in Lonavala and did not reveal the identity of her partner until after they were married.

While actress is being subjected to harsh judgement for her inter-faith wedding on social media, her friend from Bigg Boss 13 Rashami Desai has now reacted to the news of her wedding and revealed that she had no clue about Devoleena’s plans of tying the knot.

Rashami and Devoleena had become close friends after living together in the Bigg Boss house but on entering Bigg Boss 15 as guest contenders they had a major falling out. The two did patch up their differences after the show but Rashami has now revealed that she lost touch with the actress nearly a year ago.

Reacting to the news of Deevoleena’s marriage, Rashami told ETimes, “I lost touch with Devoleena since a year or so. I did not know anything about the wedding, but I am very happy for her. I am glad to know that she has tied the knot, is happy and healthy and living a good life. I wish her all the best."

Not just Rashami though, Devoleena did not invite any of her colleagues from the television industry to her wedding barring her close friend Vishal Singh who many had speculated she was marrying. The actress also hosted a wedding reception recently which was also a private affair.

The actress tied the knot on December 14 and while sharing pictures from the wedding, she introduced her husband Shahnawaz Shaikh to the world. Devoleena has since shared several pictures of family celebrations while also giving a fitting respond to her trolls.
