'Lakshmi ayi hai' : Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar head home with their newborn daughter, watch

Singer Rahul Vaidya and his actress-wife Disha Parmar welcomed their first child, a daughter on September 21, 2023. On his birthday today (September 23), he headed home with Disha and their daughter who were discharged from the hospital. He called it the best birthday gift that he could have asked for.

Talking about the same, Rahul Vaidya could be seen holding their daughter in his arms and was every bit the happy father. Mommy Disha Parmar was glowing and sported casual attire. While speaking to the media, the ‘Yaad Teri’ singer said, “We have welcomed a Lakshmi on the pious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Today is my birthday and I’m taking my daughter and wife home. What can be a better gift than this?” Rahul further expressed gratitude to the hospital staff and their gynecologist. He also asked all their fans and well-wishers to bestow their blessings on his child. Disha also asked for everyone to shower her daughter with blessings. When asked about his daughter’s name, Rahul Vaidya said, “The name will be decided by her Dadi and Nani. You will get to hear her name soon and it will be a great one.” Many fans poured in congratulatory messages for the couple. One of the fans wrote, “Congratulations, the aura the vibe. God bless Dishul and lovely baby girl.” Another user said, “She is a happy proud wife, that expression (wife)is the rarest facial aura to be found anywhere.”

Earlier, in his statement, the ‘Madhanya’ singer had said, “We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving till birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible! And we are elated! pls bless the baby.” Rahul Vaidya had proposed to Disha Parmar from inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. They tied the knot in July 2021.
