The ongoing show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, which is being hosted by the inimitable Amitabh Bachchan will see the superhit actor Kartik Aaryan and the stunning actress Vidya Balan on the hot seat. For all those who were wondering the reason why Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan will be seen gracing the celebrity hot seat, then, let us tell you that, the inimitable duo will seen on the show as a part of the film promotions of their Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
On her part (being the sport that she is), Vidya Balan took to social media and shared an extremely funny promo of the upcoming episode. She captioned the post as, ‘Watch @kartikaaryan and me in Kaun Banega Crorepati on 18th October, 9PM only on @sonytvofficial’.
The said promo sees Kartik Aaryan in an extremely tensed up mode and is seen roaming around the sofa (on which Vidya Balan is seen sitting) very restlessly.
That’s when, Vidya Balan tells Kartik Aaryan what was the matter as he was seen very nervous. On his part, Kartik Aaryan, who sports a visibly nervous and anxiety filled face tells Vidya Balan as to, “Main kya karoon. Main Kaun Banega Crorepati aur woh bhi mera pehli baar”. That’s when Vidya Balan assures him, “Fikkar not. Main hoon naa…”.
Post which, she starts taking the test of Kartik Aaryan by asking him questions like which city is called the Pink City. To which, an initially fumbling Kartik replies, “Jaipur”. This is followed by Vidya asking Kartik to name the world’s largest desert! To which, Kartik confidently tells, “Arre yaar… Sahara Desert”.
After hearing that, a visibly irritated Vidya Balan corrects him by saying, ‘the answer is ‘Antarctica’! And the reason that she gives to explain her point is something that needs to be seen in order to believe. Towards the end of the video, when Vidya Balan scares the already scared Kartik, the latter tells her, “Arey yaar yeh Manjulika wala khatam hi nhi hota. Chalo KBC khelte hai."
As for the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while it has been directed by Anees Bazmee, it stars an ensemble cast comprising of Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Manish Wadhwa, Rajesh Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and others. The film is being readied to be released on November 1, 2024.
