Actor Shalin Bhanot is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss 16 . A major reason for this is his ongoing romance angle with co-contestant Tina Datta and his equation with his ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur . Dalljiet has spilled the bean on her current relationship with her former husband.

Talking to Telly Reporter, Dalljiet Kaur was seen telling in Hindi, “The point is not whether he (Shalin Bhanot) is my best friend or not which everyone is asking me. No one is denying that he is the father of my son and that we are now co-existing while co-parenting him. Whenever he messages me that he wants to meet Jaiden (their son), I always make them meet and there hasn’t been a time when I haven’t replied to Shalin about the same or made him deprive of meeting our son for months. It is because it’s very important for our son to also spend adequate time with his dad.”

Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur’s relationship came under the scanner when he was seen telling Tina Datta in Bigg Boss 16 how he’s currently ‘best friends’ with his wife and that they weren’t in an abusive relationship. Dalljiet took to her Twitter handle to write, “No I am not your best friend Shalin. Meeting once in a month or two months for the sake of my child does not qualify as friendship. I wish you luck with your love life but leave me out of your fictions and stories please. And u r calling it funny? really? Tina no hard feelings for u.”

Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur had met on the sets of a TV show named Kulvadhu and fell in love. They tied the knot in 2009 and also participated in Nach Baliye. However, the two decided to separate in 2015 and Dalljiet also filed a complaint of alleged domestic abuse against Shalin.
