YouTuber Elvish Yadav has a crazy fan following and proof of the same was his victory on Bigg Boss OTT 2. He became the first wildcard contestant in the history of the reality show to ever lift the trophy. But apart from the number of his followers, another reason why Elvish is constantly in the news is the number of controversies surrounding him. Just this weekend, he was arrested by the Noida Police for his involvement in the snake venom case. Elvish was sent to 14-day judicial custody for allegedly supplying snake venom at rave parties.
This case was opened back in November, after a tip off about a rave party where snake venom was used as a recreational drug. Elvish was accused and was brought in for questioning twice, but he denied all allegations against him. However, according to recent reports shared by police sources, during his recent questioning Elvish apparently admitted to supplying snake venom at rave parties which were organized by him. Along with a case in the Wildlife Act, he has now been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. But sadly, that is not all.
Amidst all this, the Gurugram Police are now out to get a production warrant for the YouTuber after his video assaulting fellow content creator Maxtern aka Sagar Thakur went viral on social media. After Elvish is brought in, he will be arrested for assaulting Maxtern in a Gurgaon shop and will be interrogated. Clearly this month has not been the best for Elvish, with him falling into one problem after another. It is safe to say that the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner is controversy’s favourite child at the moment.
What’s interesting is that after the assault video went viral, Maxtern featured in the teaser of Elvish’s upcoming song Rao Sahab Rollin. Soon, netizens began speculating that the assault video was a publicity stunt. Let’s wait and watch what happens next in ‘life of Elvish’.
