Maxtern aka Sagar Thakur shared a video wherein he claimed that he was brutally beaten by Elvish along with the latter’s accomplices. The video regarding the same also went viral on social media. This happened after Elvish and Maxtern were engaged in a social media brawl for quite some time. It all started after Maxtern made some comments on Yadav after the latter could be seen bonding with Munawar Faruqui during a cricket match. Many people disliked this gesture of Elvish who claimed to abide by Hindutva. The prime reason was Faruqui’s arrest in 2021 after making controversial statements about Hindu gods during one of his comedy sketches.
Thakur filed a complaint against Elvish and alleged that the latter tried to break his spine. The FIR against Yadav has been filed under IPC sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) for assaulting and threatening to kill the Youtuber. In his side of the story, Elvish claimed that Maxtern tried to threaten harm to him and his family. However, the latest developments suggest that Maxtern has backed out from the fiasco owing to his mother’s poor health.
