Bigg Boss 17 is witnessing some high-octane drama and tensions right from its first week. One of the contestants who is grabbing a lot of eyeballs is former controversial journalist Jigna Vora who was falsely accused and arrested in connection to the murder of a journalist in 2011. In the upcoming episode, Jigna will be seen addressing some media personnel who will be throwing some explosive questions at her.
Talking about the same, the promo shows Jigna Vora’s press conference being held on the show. The media asked her if she flaunted her high-profile connections with important dignitaries which caused her ultimate downfall. Jigna can be seen saying that when she was serving her jail time of 9 months, her son told her that he believed that she could not do anything like this. She added that it gave her immense strength and she understood that she does not need to justify anything to the media industry and anyone who was judging her. She furthermore made a shocking revelation wherein she said that she was accused of sleeping with an IPS officer to get breaking news. Jigna added that this news was published by a woman editor herself. She gives a befitting statement that it might be that the same editor also acquired her position by ‘sleeping’ her way on top. This receives an applause from the other housemates. Take a look at the promo.
We see other contestants like Munawar Faruqui and Ankita Lokhande in tears hearing Jigna’s statements. For the unversed, Jigna’s controversial story inspired the Netflix web series Scoop. It starred Karishma Tanna in the lead role.
