Bigg Boss 16: Does Salman Khan have a say in Sajid Khan’s participation in the reality show? Here’s what we know

It came as a shocker to the audience when filmmaker Sajid Khan entered the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant. This is because he had been away from the limelight after the Me Too movement, wherein he was accused by 9 women of sexual harassment. Many believed that he does not deserve a platform as big as this after what he has allegedly done in the past. Some time back it was even reported that due to the building pressure, makers are contemplating the filmmaker’s eviction. Buzz also suggested that host and superstar Salman Khan has agreed to it.

However, a report shared by Bollywood Life has now revealed that Salman is not the decision-maker. The report states, “Everything is as per the channel and audience votes. Salman Khan is rather only doing his job as the host of Bigg Boss and he is doing really well. His task is to give contestants an update about right and wrong and keep the show entertaining over the Weekend Ka Vaar. Fans love him for the same and that's why he has been the host of the show for so many seasons. Plus, the eviction of the contestants is as per the votes. So it is for the audience to decide who stays in the house and who doesn't.”

Some time back rumors were doing the rounds which suggested that filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, who shares a good bond with Salman, has requested the superstar to let her brother Sajid continue participating. But this report has clarified that Salman does not get to pick and choose who stays in the controversial show and who is eliminated.
