Bharti Singh returns to work leaving her 12-day son at home; netizens are divided

Comedian Bharti Singh , who took a break after becoming mother, has returned to work within 12 days of her delivery. She welcomed her first child, a boy, with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa on April 3, 2022.

In the recent interaction with photographers, Bharti revealed that she is sad as she had to leave her 12-day son at home due to work commitments.” But what to do, work is work”, said the comedian with a sad look on his face. She also congratulated couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on their wedding and said, “Mujhe bulaya tha but mai nahi gayi bachcha chhota tha na”(They called us too, but we did not go as the child is still small) which left everyone in splits.

However, it seems Bharti’s decision of resuming work while leaving the 12-day child at home did not go down well with lots of her Instagram fans. The video shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani left Netizens divided. While few lauded the comedian for being “hard-working”, “boss lady” few slammed her for setting the wrong example for every woman and called her “greedy.”

Also, one of the fans asked her not to glorify this work culture. “Setting a wrong precedent as someone who can easily afford to not work for a few months.. it's not that the producer/organizer is forcing her to attend work this soon. There are women who don't have a choice but to work asap after delivery to make ends meet.. she need not glorify this culture and set a wrong example being a celebrity.” read the comment.
