Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hain actress Saumya Tandon raising funds to support late Deepesh Bhan's family: 'We can pay back his son for the smiles'

Former Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hain actress Saumya Tandon has taken up the task of supporting late co-star Deepesh Bhan’s family. The actress posted a video asking her fans and fans of the show to contribute whatever amount they can to help the late actor’s family pay off a home loan.

Deepesh Bhan died last month following a brain haemorrhage leaving the fans of Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hain fans and the whole TV industry shocked. Saumya in a recently posted video said that the late actor had brought a home for his wife and son after taking a bank loan and how he used to speak fondly about the home he brought for his family.

Saumya further added in the video that the late actor has brought a smile to all our faces and any small contribution would be a way of paying back the later actor for touching lives by getting the house for his son. The actress is working towards crowdsourcing a fund of Rs. 50 lakhs for the family.

Fans eagerly showed support for Saumya’s initiative and praised her for helping out Deepesh’s wife and child.

Bhabiji cast came together to pay their last respects to Deepesh in July and were all seen crying inconsolably. Deepesh played Malkhan on the hugely popular sitcom and became a household name with the character over the years.

On the morning of July 27, Deepesh died all too suddenly while playing cricket in his building compound in Dahisar after a session at the gym. He was later supposed to shoot for the show on the day but collapsed after playing an over around 7 am in the morning.

The actor was 41 years of age and is survived by his wife and his year-old son.
