'Apni beti ko uthane ke liye...' : Tina Datta's father hits back at Sumbul Touqeer Khan's dad after latter bashes her publicly

Bigg Boss 16 ’s latest episode saw a high-octane drama after Sumbul Toqeer Khan’s father Touqeer Hasan Khan came in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode to school his daughter and also lashed out at Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot . He accused Tina and Shalin of ruining his daughter’s game and projecting her in a bad light. However, now Tina’s father Tapan Kumar Datta has hit back at Sumbul’s father after the recent episode.

According to a news report in Zee News, Tina Datta’s father has broken his silence on the matter and has opined that the showrunners should have brought the families of both the contestants and not just one. He also added that Sumbul shouldn’t be given special treatment just because she is younger than the rest of the contestants since Bigg Boss 16 doesn’t see any discrimination on the basis of age, gender, status, or profession. He further stressed that Tina always had Sumbul’s good interests in mind. Lastly, he took a strong jibe at the Imlie actress’ father and said that he shouldn’t humiliate someone else’s daughter just to push his own daughter upwards.

His statement read, “Papa Gaye toh dono ke jaane chaiye the. Age se thodi nah yeh hota hai ki woh chotti hai toh uske papa jayenge guide Karne. Reality show pe sab equal hai- kaam, age, audha koi mahine nahi rakhta hai, sab contestant hai Ek hi stage pe. Tina ne apni aur se har waqt sahi salah di thi jaise Sumbul hurt nahi ho aur Sumbul ka soch ke hi toh Tina ne yeh baat pehle hi clear karne ke liye bola tha …main yehi bolunga ki apni beti ko uthane ke liye, dusre ki beti ko neecha nahi dikhana chaiye."
