Alia Bhatt’s look alike gets a big break; to be making her acting debut on TV

In the age of social media, people are realizing their dreams of becoming actors. From Harsh Beniwa and Prajakta Kohli to Shirley Setia, several social media influencers made their way to big-ticket Bollywood movies. The latest to add to the list is Celesti Bairagey who took the internet by storm with her striking resemblance to Bollywood’s top actress Alia Bhatt .

According to Etimes, Celesti has got her big break in the television show Rajjo Rocket . She will be playing the lead role of an athlete. She grabbed attention with her viral videos in which she enacted Alia’s role of Gangubai Kathiawadi . She said, “A few months back, I recreated a scene from Gangubai Kathiawadi and posted it. The makers saw it and called me for an audition. After a few mock shoots, I landed this role, "she told the news portal.

Further, she elaborated on her role saying that she shot difficult stunts in Kulu for the show. “I am glad that the makers are nice and warm towards me because it is not easy for any young small, city girl to start shooting for such a challenging role. The show is all about the journey of an athlete and I am glad that my first show is something that I am proud of. Alia Bhatt's role in Highway is my most favourite and I hope in the future, I am able to do such roles and meet her someday," she added.

Meanwhile, Celesti hails from Assam and is currently pursuing a degree in English Literature. Well, it's just dream come true for her as she always fancied acting in drama and skits in her school days. She revealed that she always wanted to become an actor and Alia Bhatt is her idol.
