After Tejasswi Prakash, Bigg Boss 16 star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary becomes Ekta Kapoor’s new heroine

Last year, even before Bigg Boss season 15 had ended, actress and contestant Tejasswi Prakash bagged the lead role in Ekta Kapoor ’s Naagin 6 . The official announcement of the same was made from inside the BB house. Sharing a clip of the same yesterday, Ekta revealed that she will be entering the Bigg Boss 16 house soon. The producer shared, “Lots of love for this nagina 😁! Found her in d big boss house n in throes of corona n high fever n cough forced @colors n Manisha that I wanted to cast her ! Hopefully going to big boss for a exciting film announcement let’s see who we find there thsi time 🤛🏻🤛🏻🤛🏻😍😒😁😀😆💥💥💥💥#byebyyenagin.”

In the comment section below, many netizens requested Ekta to sign contestant and actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the lead actress of Naagin 7 . Well, their wishes have apparently been granted. A post shared by Mr Khabri on social media has revealed that after Tejasswi, Ekta has roped in Priyanka as her heroine for an upcoming project backed by ALT Balaji. The note read: “Ekta Kapoor signed Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for next project!! (ALTBalaji).” It isn’t clear whether Priyanka has signed a film with Ekta’s production house or the 7th season of her supernatural thriller series. But either ways, it’s great news.

Priyanka’s fans are over the moon with joy and are excited to see her soar high on success post her exit from Bigg Boss 16. However, there are some who feel that signing a project with Ekta means she is the pre-decided winner of Salman Khan ’s reality show. One netizen shared, “So basically winner has been announced as ekta kapoor won't telecast someone who comes 2nd”, whereas another comment read: “Lol not a surprise though 😂😂. Everything pre-planned. Soon after the announcement of Naagin 6, Tejasswi lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss 15 . However, the actress had clarified that her win had nothing to do with her bagging Ekta’s show. Maybe that’s the same case with Priyanka.
