'After smashing Asit Modi' : Fans react to Jennifer Mistry and Priya Ahuja's fun dance reel together

The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were in for a rough ride in recent times. After many cast members left the show unceremoniously, Jennifer Mistry who played Roshan Singh Sodhi accused the makers of alleged sexual harassment and inhuman treatment. Her allegations were further supported by Priya Ahuja who had essayed Rita Reporter on the show. Now as the two ladies came together for a dance reel, many netizens gave a callback to producer Asit Modi in the comments.

Talking about the same, Priya Ahuja and Jennifer Mistry can be seen dancing to the song ‘What Jhumka?’ from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. They can be seen wearing a traditional Lavani-style Maharashtrian saree. While Priya can be seen in a deep purple saree, Jennifer dons a bright orange saree. They can be seen dancing their hearts out and also getting goofy with each other. Take a look at the same.

No sooner was the video shared than netizens also started reacting to it. One of the netizens stated, “Back together after smashing Asit Modi.” While another user added, “Mam i hope ki aap dono ko jaldi koi naya tv serial mil jaaye taaki us asit modi ka kuch bolne layak na rahe. Unhone hi bola tha na ki aap dono ko kahi kaam nahi milega.” A netizen went on to say, “Asit Modi gaur se dekh raha hain.” One of the users furthermore left an epic comment which said, “Asit ke life pe web series toh nahi bana rahe.” A fan praised their reel saying, “Such a positivity and smile makes this reel more lovely.”

Jennifer Mistry made several allegations against the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after she left the show. Priya Ahuja was one of the few former cast members of the show who supported her in the same. Priya also alleged that the makers of the comedy show do not treat their cast and crew well, furthermore accusing them of not giving a proper character arc to her role.
