'She carries on being a really annoying character': Devi aka Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s Never Have I Ever season 4 gets mixed reactions on Twitter

The much-awaited fourth season of Maitreyi Ramakrishnan starrer Never Have I Ever has dropped on Netflix and so are the reviews on Twitter. While some social media users loved the chemistry between Devi Vishwakumar(Maitreyi) and Ben Gross(Jaren Lewison. A section of Twitterati wanted to see more of Paxton aka Darren Barnet in the new season. The fans were also taken aback by the Sami Sami song from Pushpa being played on the show. Even viewers took note of the mention of Ranveer Singh’s name in the season.

Twitter users spammed the micro-blogging site with their reviews on the new season of Mindy Kaling’s show. The new episodes continued to navigate Devi’s dramatic love life whilst also attempting to secure a spot at Princeton. Reacting to the season, one of the users wrote, “Never have I ever season 4 out and I just found out who endgame is. how do u make 4 seasons of a show and still not make one of the couples interesting enough like??” The second user wrote, “The characters in this show are driving me batshit this season. why are they all acting like shit c****.” “Since #NeverHaveIEverS4 is out another season where I kinda hopped the writers would make Devi a bit more not self absorbed??? but nope she carries on being a really annoying character,” read a comment.

Benvi had many conflicts in 3 seasons what was need to have more of those in s4 they should hvae developed plus side of their relationship in last season in episode 5 they are showing it but everytime it is same with them one step forward two steps backwards #NeverHaveIEverS4

On the other hand, a section of social media users swooned over Devi and Ben’s chemistry. One user wrote, “If Ben and Devi worked before they def work a MILLION times better after this season. just the fact they allowed us to see scenes where Ben and Devi mutually comfort and just understand each other??? this really was the perfect season for them.” The second user added, “I'm so happy that after 4 seasons of banter and romance, my favourite enemies to lovers are officially boyfriend and girlfriend in college.
