‘Orry is a cheater’: Karan Johar welcomes influencers to Koffee With Karan 8; Kusha asks about his therapy sessions

Unlike the last few seasons of Koffee With Karan, season 8 was wholesome and went beyond poking into others’ relationships. This time the celebrity guests opened up about mental health, their work and shared only as much as they wanted to about their personal lives. One of the most fun moments was when Kajol and Rani Mukerji shared the coveted coffee couch and hilariously trolled their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director. Well, for the grand finale of this epic season, Karan Johar invited well known influencers and content creators to grace the set of KWK.

Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, Tanmay Bhat and Sumukhi Suresh will share the spotlight. However, celebrity BFF and serial selfie taker Orry aka Orhan Awatramani will get his own space on the couch. In the trailer of the upcoming episode, when asked if he’s single, Orry replied, “I have 5.” When asked if he’s dating five people, he stated, “I’m cheating, I’m a cheater. Orry is a cheater.” KJo hit back by joking that he’s a liver because he’s living and now a cheater. Meanwhile, Tanmay joked that the show should be called ‘Filter Koffee With Karan’ because of all the filters whereas Kusha asked KJo if he was missing his own therapy sessions to shoot the chat show.

Danish, on the other hand, called the season a ‘snooze fest’. He also poked fun at Karan, referring to the filmmaker’s history of launching star kids like Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in his career. Danish asked, “What was more hurtful. The fact that you didn't get to launch all the star kids because Zoya Akhtar did it in The Archies.” When Kusha asked if that ‘cut deep’, Karan dramatically responded ‘yes’ leaving everyone in splits. In the end the filmmaker asked if he can exit his own show and have the influencers and content creators take over.
