Mirzapur 3 trailer- Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal simply ‘go for the kill’ with their stunning performances;
We all know that; nothing can beat the deadly combination of cutting chai and piping hot pakora during the rainy season. Well... but for the enthusiasts of the gripping web series Mirzapur, there cannot be a more deadly combination than the likes of stellar actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjumm Shharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik and Manu Rishi Chadha. After having entertained everyone with their superlative performance in the previous two seasons of Mirzapur, the much-awaited trailer of Mirzapur 3 has been dropped today.
The gripping trailer of Mirzapur 3 starts off with a quick recap of the earlier season. This is followed by the intentional mistakes of Mamaji pronouncing ‘karuna’ (compassion) as ‘Corona’. What follows after that is Guddu bhaiyya getting down from a vehicle and his entourage with a hammer in his hand and is on a mission to demolish the statue of Kaaleen bhaiyya. Then, Guddu, in his trademark style, says, “Ab.. Guddu pandit on ''. This is followed by a mission to create sympathy for Kaalen bhaiyaa amongst the general public.

While on one hand Guddu bhaiyya proclaims that ‘violence is his USP’, on the other hand, his father says (in the court) that the only sin that he has done is that he is Guddu’s father! Beena, then, places a kiss on Guddu’s forehead and states that, ‘No one can challenge Guddu Pandit’, a message that she wants to be made loud and clear in the entire Purvanchal.
This is followed by a series of events which forms the crux of the third season of Mirzapur. As an icing on the cake comes Kaalen bhaiyaa mouthing the lines, “yeh gaddhhi, ye Parampara was built by his father and him (in Hindi). And as a finishing line, he declares that he is about to do something, which has never been done in the history of Purvanchal.
For all those who are a bit unversed with what exactly had happened in Mirzapur 2, then, let us remind (read ‘refresh’) you that, after Guddu bhaiyya’s (Alia Fazal) wife (Shriya Pilgaonkar) and brother bablu (Vikrant Massey) get killed, he starts his revenge seeking mission against Kaleen bhaiyya (the inimitable Pankaj Tripathi) and Munna bhaiyya (Divyendu Sharma). Speaking of Munna bhaiyya, he is on a trip of his own, wherein he is all mentally set to take over the Mirzapur empire from his father Kaleen!

And, becoming his partner in crime is none other than the baby faced Golu (Shweta Tripathi) picks up a gun, in order to avenge her brother Bablu’s death. Help comes in an unexpected form through Beena (Rasika Duggal), who happens to be Kaleen’s wife. She, then, becomes the ‘khabri’ of Golu and Guddu! And towards the end, it was shown that Guddu and Golu land up murdering Munna!
No sooner than the trailer of Mirzapur 3 was launched, many of the netizens took to the comments section like a fish takes to water. While one netizen wrote, ‘Last second scene of kaleen bhaiya stole whole attraction ......just incredible, kaleen bhaiya flower nhi fire hai be… the entry of King of Mirzapur is just fire’, there was another who wrote, ‘We Will watch in 1 night & again wait for 2 years for next season. We want Munna bhaiya back. Mirzapur is incomplete without Munna bhaiya’.
Mirzapur 3 will be streamed on Prime Video India on July 5, 2024.
