In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the royal mother-son duo Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan. From their family matters to professional achievements, the conversation also reeled around the controversies of their lives. However, there were also light moments when Saif Ali Khan shared details about his little sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan.
During the Rapid-fire segment, Karan asked Saif about any funny questions that Taimur asked him. He didn’t recall any funny anecdotes but talked about his curious questions about crucifixion.“He keeps asking me questions about God. And I have to figure out how to answer them properly. He was asking something about the crucifixion, and how Jesus died, and why he was killed. It needs a proper answer,” he said. And Karan joked about Kareena saying, “Thank God he isn’t asking Bebo that, because I don’t want her to give him wrong information, which she’s capable of…”
Saif continued, “Well, she’s the one who introduced him to Christianity, and I’m the one answering questions,” Saif also revealed that his son is the best friend of Karan’s son Yash Johar. Karan then added, “Taimur and my son are best friends. He keeps calling my son Yash Johar, and because Saif remembers Yash Johar as my father, he told Taimur, ‘Show some respect’.” To which Saif joked that he will now teach Taimur to call him ‘Yash ji’. Karan laughed at the thought and said, “It will be quite hilarious if Taimur, in class, starts calling my son ‘Yash ji’.”
Later, Karan also asked when Taimur shows tantrums, Saif replied when he doesn’t want to sleep. When asked about Jeh throwing tantrums, Saif said usually because he usually doesn’t want to brush his teeth, doesn’t want to have a bath, doesn’t want to go to sleep and doesn’t want to go to school. Karan completed, “He doesn’t want to do anything.” and Saif added, “None of these things.”
Meanwhile, workwise, Saif was last seen in Adipurush alongside Kriti Sanon and Prabhas. Up next, he is geared for Telugu movie, Devara co-starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
