Koffee With Karan 8: Kareena redirects Deepika-related question to Alia; avoids talking about feud with Ameesha Patel

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt will be the next guest on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan Season 8. The much-awaited promo of the episode is finally out, and we see Kareena in her sassiest self on the show. Karan introduced Alia as his first ‘newborn-like’, and Kareena as his ‘spirit soul’. The Jab We Met actress says, “I am back” and Alia adds, “On this very controversial couch, controversial with a ‘K’”.

Alia asks Karan, “Who are we?” to which Karan guesses, “Devrani Jethani, nanad, I don’t know.” Kareena takes a dig at him saying, “You should know, you only made K3G(Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham).” Karan then makes second guesses pointing at Alia, “She would be your bhabhi” and Kareena interrupts, “I am not kisiki bhabhi” and Alia laughs. Up next, Kareena seductively asks Karan what he does anyway, and he says, “Ask me no secret, I will tell no lie.” with a sly smile.

Further, Alia talks about her co-stars Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. To put her point, she uses an assumption that if Karan’s mother Hiroo Johar falls down, he doesn’t listen. Karan says, “She made my mother fall down,” and Alia laughs and clarifies, “I am just saying.” Karan then introduces a game called Vibe Chat, and Alia reacts, “New things in Koffee With Karan. He then asks about Kareena’s version of the horror movie, “No pout photos,” he says. And Kareena gives him back saying, “I mean u pout more than me.”She imitates him and Alia chuckles saying, “She is trolling you.” Alia then shows her go-to move at the dance party.

Karan then throws a question at Kareena asking if she considers Deepika Padukone as her competition. To which she redirects it to Alia, saying, “I think this is Alia’s question for her rapid-fire round not for me.” Karan quips, “Aagayi na line pe.” Karan again attacks Kareena with a hard-hitting question asking why she didn’t Gadar 2 success party while mentioning that she had a history with Ameesha Patel. “You were meant to do Kaho Na Pyaar Hai,”says Karan and Kareena chooses not to react. “I am ignoring Karan as you all can see,” she says.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the couch in the last episode of the Koffee With Karan. So far, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol have arrived as guests on the show this season. The upcoming lineup of guests includes Kajol-Rani Mukerji and Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty. It is expected that Salman Khan will conclude the season with his appearance in the closing episode, however, there is confirmation as yet.
