Koffee With Karan 8: Aditya Roy reacts to dating rumours with Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor reveals about his off-screen role play

After a fun episode with Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, host Karan Johar is geared up for a conversation with Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor on Koffee With Karan Season 8. On Monday, the filmmaker dropped the first glimpse of the upcoming episode with ‘two unmarried boys who just wanna have fun’. The promo begins with Karan commenting on their outfits, saying “We got opposite memos in dressing,” to which Arjun, who wore a casual white shirt paired with black pants and denim jacket, replies, “Metro Rager vs Night Manager.’ Aditya, wearing a checkered formal suit, tells Arjun that they didn’t chat before, and Arjun says, “I'm still checking you out.”

Further, the promo shows Karan asking Aditya to clear the air around the ongoing dating rumours with Ananya Panday. Aditya smartly replies, “Ask me no secrets and I will tell no lies, moving on”. During a shot game round, Karan asks them to take a shot if they get dressed up for an off-screen role-play. Arjun takes a shot and says, “handcuffs” and Aditya says, “I think Disney+Hotstar can’t handle this.” Later, both the boys take shots when asked if they ditched romantic nights for a date with boys. Karan remarks “Such boys you all.” Karan then asks Aditya what he would do if he was stuck with Shraddha Kapoor and Ananya Panday in the elevator. And Arjun quips, “Aashiqui toh zaroor karta, par kiske saath pata nahi.” to which Aditya reacts, “What?” and the latter says “just joking” like Chunky Panday’s character from movie Housefull.

Later, Karan asks Arjun about a rumour he would like to start about himself, and he answers, “There are enough rumours about me any which ways, I would rather end some of them actually.”The promo ends with Arjun and Aditya arguing and pressing buzzers during a game and the latter exclaims, “the episode is turning chaos.” Sharing the promo on Instagram, Karan wrote, “Get seated, the boys aka Arjun Kapoor & Aditya Roy Kapur are on the koffee kouch this week and they are bringing the house down!” Reacting to the clip, a user said, “Pata nhi ye Arjun Kapoor ko kyu bula leta hai....call kartik Aryan instead of him…” Another user asked, “Why Arjun Kapoor?”

Meanwhile, Aditya was last seen in thriller series The Night Manager alongside Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. He will next be seen in Metro In Dino co-starring Sara Ali Khan. On the other hand, Arjun was last seen in The Lady Killer. His next is Meri Husband Ki Biwi alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh.
