Guns & Gulaabs Trailer: Rajkummar Rao-Dulquer Salmaan starrer is full on action, drama, comedy & thrill

The first trailer for the much anticipated Netflix series Guns & Gulaabs starring Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan is finally out. The series is created by the talented filmmaking duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. – popularly known as Raj & DK. The project is produced by D2R Films.

Netflix has interestingly captioned the trailer: “Get your paana and pistol ready kyunki Isse zyada romance, comedy aur action aur kahin nahi milega!” And, in the Instagram comments section, Netflix has pinned a commnet: “Gulaabganj ki paavan dharti mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai.”

The trailer looks gripping as it touches upon the world of crime and violence in the 90s. The comedy crime thriller offers an intriguing story of love and innocence fused with humour and romance. The entire plot is set up in the fictitious town of Gulaabganj and showcases an infatuated mechanic, a disinclined heir to a dominating gang in the area and an honest officer. The eccentric yet grasping story also involves a small-town trio of innocent schoolmates who witness heartbreaks and treachery during the course of their growing up in life.

Well, social media users seem to have given the trailer a thumbs up on Instagram. One wrote: “Gulababo ka shor, Raj & DK ka zor aur Rkr aur DQ ka acting rukni nhi chahiye,” while the other said: “Fire hone wala hai.” A netizen commented: “ House of talent at one place.” A fan reacted: “ Raj & DK creating another masterpiece with these fine actors.”

Other members of the cast include Adarsh Gourav, Gulshan Devaiah, Satish Kaushik, Goutam Sharma and TJ Bhanu. The series would be remembered for late Bollywood veteran Satish Kaushik’s one last screen appearance. Guns & Gulaabs which is scheduled to be released on Netflix in Hindi and dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada will begin streaming on Netflix from 18 August this year. Meanwhile, Raj and DK have earlier made shows 'The Family Man' and 'Farzi' for Prime Video.
