Emmy 2022
74th Primetime Emmy Awards were hosted by Kenan Thompson, with Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso taking home the prize for Best comedy series.
HBO's Succession won the award for Best Drama Series, and Zendaya became the first Black woman to win lead actress in a drama series, as well as the youngest two-time award winner.
Netflix's Squid Game star Lee Jung-Jae became the first Asian actor to ever win lead actor in a drama series.
Additionally, the Emmys bestowed the 2022 Governors Award to the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
