In the crime thriller, she plays the role of a fearless police officer who set out to nab a mystery serial murderer on the loose in a small Rajasthani village. While a section of people gave big thumbs up to Dahaad, others called it a propaganda movie. Talking about the performances, Twitterati was captivated by Vijay Varma’s powerful acting. Must watch! @primevideoIN! #DahaadOnPrime @excelmovies @tigerbabyfilms.” Another reacted, “#VijayVarma will simply leave you spellbound.. his menacing glare is enough to make one feel scared.. a must-watch!”. “@MrVijayVarma is so scary in #Dahaad! In such a good way! I want to watch the show but I am scared of watching him at the same time,” added another.

On the other hand, some Twitter users were disappointed with the show. “Dahaad- What a Hinduphobic web series! Glorifies conversion of Hindu girls & Love Jihad openly show Hindus in the worst light possible and rest you can imagine…I was all in for complete n absolute freedom of OTT but no I think @ianuragthakur ji must look into this now!#dahaad,” stated one of the users. “Just 10 minutes into #Dahaad all the usual tropes are on display. Bollywood you are incorrigible,” read one of the comments. “An orgasm too delayed is an orgasm denied. Dahaad is a classic example of that. An interesting plot is rendered rather ineffective by an unnecessarily lengthy runtime. @MrVijayVarma, @gulshandevaiah and @s0humshah make it a bearable watch,” read another comment.
