Bigg Boss OTT 2’s Falaq Naaz on claims of whitewashing Sheezan Khan's image after Tunisha’s death: 'Joh cheez hui nahi…'

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 Sheezan Khan’s sister and actress Falaq Naaz opened up about her family’s struggle during brother Sheezan Khan’s jail term. She became emotional while talking to fellow contestant Pooja Bhatt and gave a befitting reply to people’s claim that she is on the show to whitewash Sheezan’s image.

For the unversed, Falaq fearlessly defended her brother Sheezan Khan who was accused of abetting his ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma’s suicide. He was arrested under section 306 of IPC and spent almost two months behind bars until he was proven innocent in the case.

It so happened that Pooja recalled a press conference where Falaq stood for her brother and expressed admiration for her. Falaq got teary-eyed while reminiscing about the challenging period and said, “ “How can I take credit for standing up for my family. If not me, who would have done it? Who would have stood up for my mother, brother? Only I would have to stand up for them… If you are not loyal to your family, you cannot be loyal to anyone in life. The difficulties that we have gone through during that time, it’s hard to describe.”

She further mentioned how people think that she is here to polish her brother and family’s image. “People are now saying that I have come on the show to whitewash my family’s image, yes I will do that. I don’t need to whitewash anyone’s image. Joh cheez hui nahi hai… usko karne ki zarurat nahi… joh jaisa hai woh waise rahega. If you want to say things, keep saying at my expense. The things we have gone through nobody else can even think of going through.”

Meanwhile, Falaq’s captaincy has come to an end on the show. The contestants recently were divided into two groups-Team White and Team Black for a ration task. While Pooja Bhatt, Falaq Naaz, Cyrus Broacha, Bebika Dhurve, Avinash Sachdev and Manisha Rani were in Team Black. Abhishek Malhan, Aaliya Siddique, Akanksha Puri, Jiya Shankar and Jad Hadid were included in Team White. At the end of the task, team white won and received a premium ration, while the losing team got a basic ration.
