She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 3 Review - Jennifer Walter's superhero journey continues to entertain
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
Jennifer Walters prepares for Emil Blonsky's parole hearing with the help of The Sorcerer Supreme.
The third episode is the series picks up with Jennifer Walters confronting her client Emil Blonsky aka Abomination about the recent fight video in which he sees in seen fighting Wong.
The clip in question is from Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Rings, in which Abomination made his return to the MCU .
Like the previous two episodes, the show is fun and light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously, the humor and tone of the show stay true to the fact that is a show about a lawyer who just happens to be a superhero.
Tatiana Maslany is the perfect choice for the role and continues to give a stellar performance, her portrayal of Walters is relatable and manages to make you empathize with her struggle her career and her alter ego.
The biggest flaw that the show has is its shoddy CGI, especially when it focuses on the main character, in this episode it does look better in some parts, but when it is bad it very notable and distracts you from what is actually happening in the episode.
Another potential issue is the lack of a clear villain, from the tone of the show it is clear that Jessica Gao and her team are not trying to set an epic clash but some sort of 'big bad guy' should be introduced.
The ending of this episode does tease that larger things are at play, so hopefully, the show does flesh out its villains in the coming episodes.
Overall the series and this episode continue to be fun and engaging and hopefully, the CGI will get better in the coming episodes.
