<p>Ace director Farah Khan celebrates her birthday today (January 9). From establishing herself as the undisputed queen of commercial cinema to an entertaining television face, Farah had conquered many roles. Let us take a look at some of them.&nbsp;</p>


It can be safely said that Farah Khan has been the pioneer of commercial cinema through her filmography over the years. With not a single misses in her film career, all her movies have been astounding commercial successes and defined the entertaining glory of Bollywood. It is not a surprise that fans are eagerly waiting for her next big screen project. 

Apart from establishing herself as a successful director, Farah had already catapulted into the league of the most prominent choreographers in the industry. She has choreographed award-winning songs like 'Chaiya Chaiya', 'Dhol Bajne Laga', 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena', 'Woh Ladki Hain Kahan', 'Munni Badnaam Hui' and 'Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala.' Her vision and ability to bring out the chemistry between the actors to perfection made all her songs the biggest chartbusters of all times. 

If direction and choreography weren't enough, Farah also turned out to be one of the most dynamic TV personalities. Over the long span of her career, she has been a judge and host on shows like Indian Idol, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Khatra Khatra Khatra, Nach Baliye, Dance India Dance, Farah Ki Daawat, Bigg Boss and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Fans got to see the more quirky and fun side of her personality through these TV stints. 

Farah is not someone who is averse to controversies. The infamous feud between her and Shah Rukh Khan remains one of the most talked-about fights in the industry. It all started after Shah Rukh had hit her husband Shirish Kunder after the latter reportedly took a jibe at his film Ra.One failing at the box office. This resulted in a feud between the director and the actor for a few years. Farah was also not afraid to take a dig at Shah Rukh in her film Tees Maar Khan. However, she managed to mend her friendship with him and they soon worked together in the 2014 film Happy New Year. Khan had also reacted strongly to the MeToo allegation against her brother Sajid Khan. The director had stated that her brother has a lot to atone for if he has really behaved in an inappropriate manner with the women, adding that she stands in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt. 

If we are talking about the many roles that Farah has aced in her life and we do not talk about her impeccable humor and comic timing, we are seriously missing something huge. The director is not afraid to poke fun at herself and at others while in her TV shows or public appearances. Her mannerisms have time and again being imitated too by the likes of Jaime Lever and Sugandha Mishra. 

Along with being a loving wife to her director husband Shirish Kunder, Farah Khan is also a doting mother to her triplets Czar, Diva, and Anya. She recently won the internet by sharing a picture of her son pressing her feet as compensation for her taking him to watch the FIFA World Cup.
