Deepika Padukone turned the temperatures up with several notches in the song 'Besharam Rang' from her upcoming movie Pathaan. From her sensuous dance moves, bold avatar, and fiery chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika was a delicious treat to behold in the song. The song, however, faced and is still facing numerous controversies due to its visuals and Deepika's attire. But the actress' cheerleaders and fans have lauded her for giving everyone the party anthem of the year. 

Deepika Padukone represented India as at the Cannes Film Festival as a prestigious jury member. The actress also churned out many scintillating looks. Deepika had said that apart from a personal triumph, her being a member of the jury is a victory for India and its values. 

Deepika Padukone became the first Indian brand ambassador of the cult fashion brand, Louis Vuitton. A single Instagram post of Deepika from the Cannes Film Festival wearing a Louis Vuitton gown garnered more than two million likes and generated more than $1 million in MIV for the brand.

Deepika created history by unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy ahead of the Argentina VS France match in Qatar in December 2022. The actress unveiled the Jules Rimmet trophy alongside Iker Casillas. Even though some salty netizens criticized her outfit, the actress remain unfazed and basked in this achievement. 

Deepika starred in the film Gehraiyaan in February last year which stirred many debates. Many netizens especially called out Deepika's complex role in the movie of a woman committing adultery. While some considered the plot of the film unique, the others called it extremely problematic but majority of the fans found Padukone's performance to be very riveting. 

Deepika Padukone gave her fans a huge treat by turning an entrepreneur by launching her own skincare brand named 82°E. The skincare ranges from products made organically with the actress supervising the ingredients herself. Even though the brand was criticized for being too expensive and compared it with Katrina Kaif's makeup brand, Deepika has surely opened an ambitious chapter of her life by launching this brand. 

Even though her husband Ranveer Singh's film Cirkus failed to do wonders at the box office, Deepika's song 'Current Laga Re' with Ranveer in the song was a complete show-stealer. It was endearing to see the beautiful couple let loose and dance their hearts out with each other after a long time. 

Deepika Padukone also made an appearance in Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex's podcast 'Archetypes' wherein the two discussed dealing with mental health issues in the past. Not only this but Deepika rubbished the divorce rumors with Ranveer Singh that were nastily floating around by that time. The actress was heard saying in the podcast, "My husband was at a music festival for a week and he's just come back. So, he's gonna be happy to see my face.”
