<p>Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his birthday today (October 11). Did you know that the superstar owns some of the most luxurious houses on the block? Let us look at some of these homes that will prove that Big B truly lives up to his 'Shahenshah' tag.&nbsp;</p>


The luxurious bungalow is the current residence of the superstar along with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The home is constructed of gold, silver, and brass metallics along with being surrounded by a plush lawn and some precious paintings. A picture of a painting of a flying bull from one of the living areas of the home had gone viral on social media last year. 

Prateeksha was the very first home that Amitabh Bachchan had bought and is just a kilometer away from Jalsa. He used to live there with his late parents Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. For the unversed, Big B's son Abhishek Bachchan also tied the knot with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the venue. 

Amitabh Bachchan owns another bungalow named Vatsa. The literal meaning of Vatsa is known as 'calf.' 

Janak is yet another sprawling bungalow owned by Amitabh Bachchan in Mumbai. It is said to be acting as office space for the superstar. The first two floors of the house are a private setting for Big B. 

Amitabh Bachchan also owns a plus home in Dubai's Sanctuary Falls area. The property is developed by Shaikh Holdings. However, the house is mostly used by his son Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. 

Amitabh Bachchan is also a proud owner of a delightful home in the City Of Love- Paris.
