Cannes Film Festival 2022: TV celebrities who have dazzled at the prestigious event in years past

The Cannes Film Festival is back after a Covid-19 induced gap of two years and the Indian contingent of actor is already heading to join the celebration of cinema at the grand event which begins on May 17.

Indian has sufficient reasons to be proud of at Cannes this year with the foremost being that it has been announced as the official Country of Honour at the Marché du Film which takes place alongside the festival. The ‘Country of Honour’ concept has been introduced for very first times at Cannes.

Apart from this, Deepika Padukone who has already arrived in Cannes has joined the Film Festival as a jury member this year.

Actress Hina Khan is also headed to Cannes for the second time after a stunning debut in 2019. This year, another popular face from TV, actress Helly Shah will also be making her debut at the prestigious Cannes red carpet and will be joining the unveiling of the poster of her debut film titled ‘Kaya Palat’.

However, there a quite a few TV celebrities who have made their presence felt at the Cannes Film Festival before these two leading ladies of the telly world.
