Cannes 2022 Day 1: Deepika Padukone, R Madhavan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and others slay at red carpet event

The 75th Cannes Film Festival kickstarted on Tuesday, May 17 with a slew of celebrities making their presence at the prestigious event. From Deepika Padukone to R Madhvan, they walked the red carpet in their best outfits to represent India on the very first day of Cannes. Also, Tamannaah Bhatia and Pooja Hegde among others also made their debut on the glamorous carpet as part of Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur led star-studded Indian delegation including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, AR Rahman, Shekhar Kapur, and folk singer Mame Khan, among others. Actor Akshay Kumar too was part of the official delegation but had to opt out after he tested positive for COVID-19.
